WH Editor-in-Chief Liz Plosser particularly loves the the compass and Waypoints feature she first used on the Apple Watch 8. It allows you to head outside and drop markers as you go—perfect for people hiking or exploring a new jogging route.
"As a human who seems to have been born without an internal compass, this is big for me, whether I’m hiking in my happy place in the Colorado mountains, or exploring the trails of Prospect Park in my own neighborhood," Plosser wrote in her Apple Watch Series 8 review.
As far as discounts go, the Apple Watch Series 8 is currently running at 50 percent off throughout the end of March and beginning of April. Its starting price was $400, and now it's marked all the way down to $200 (!!).

"New updates to the Mindfulness app may be my favorite thing in this watchOS upgrade," she wrote in her review of the Apple Watch 9. "The app will present you with a series of dynamic shapes to help express how you’re feeling and what may be contributing to it." The function also allows you to set up a daily reminder so that you're consistent with your check-in's.
